This position will be based with the Baking Business Unit in Pretoria West and report to the Digital & Information Director. This leader will drive the IT strategy and execution for the Business Unit, enabling business growth, operational excellence, and digital transformation as part of the IT Executive Leadership Team. The role builds strong partnerships with business leaders, translating business priorities into IT strategies and solutions, and ensuring IT initiatives deliver measurable value.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Impact: Shape and execute IT strategy for the Business Unit, aligning technology initiatives with business objectives
• Innovation & Technology: Drive digital transformation and the adoption of analytics, automation, and emerging technologies to enhance business performance
• Growth & Influence: Build trusted partnerships with business leaders, influencing the adoption of digital solutions that drive efficiency and growth
• Collaboration: Work closely with others to integrate Business Unit needs into company-wide IT governance and delivery

Qualifications

• Honours Degree in Information Technology or Business Management is required
• Master’s degree is preferred
• A minimum of 10 - 12 years’ experience is required in a similar field with at least 5 years in senior management capacity
